HS-FKFOIN series
The German EMOD company specially designed HS-FKFOIN series high-speed three-phase motors for test bench applications.
The maximum external voltage of HS-FKFOIN series motors is 690V, protection grade IP23, high dynamic characteristics, extremely low moment of inertia, extremely wide field weakening area, temperature sensors are installed on the windings and bearings, the use of hybrid bearings makes the motor With low maintenance and long life, encoder can be installed, suitable for IGBT inverter drive control.

Flat motor
Three-phase special motors in flat design
Depending on their slim quadrangular design they are used in
drives with small interspaces between spindles.
Especially strong design of bearings and shafts allows rated
speeds up to 18000rpm when driven by a converter (300Hz).
The heavy-duty bearing arrangement at the drive end and the –
in comparison with the frame size – big diameter of the output
shaft allow the direct mounting of drilling chucks etc.
These high-speed motors are mostly used in special machines for
machining of plastics, wood or metals.
Mechanical design:
Degree of protection IP 54 in accordance with DIN IEC 34, part 5.
Motors are totally enclosed and surface ventilated.
Types of construction:
Motors are available in feet or feet-flange version.
They are to be fixed by using the taped holes in the motor feet.
The construction of the drive-end flange allows the mounting of
a protecting device for the tools by means of taped holes.

DC shunt wound motors of the GMF series are internally forced
cooled, and they are especially intended to meet the high
requirements when used with thyristor current converters.
Besides, four-pole design and square sectional view ensure at
smallest size the highest possible output power; large air gaps,
widening to the pole exteriors, decrease the magnetic armature
reaction and also enable safe cooling at low noise level.
Fully laminated field and armature as well as commutating poles
ensure low heat losses and sparkless commutation.
Extensive speed-control ranges with absolute smooth running
and reversing are ensured by skewed rotors and large number of
collector peaces.
As standard the motors are equipped with overhead mounted
external blowers. Other mounting positions are available.
In dusty environments a filter at the air-inlet opening can
subsequently be provided. On request the degree of protection
IP 44 R for the connection to an external cooling system is
possible by means of special adapter flanges.
The n.d.e. end shields and shaft ends are in series provided
for various mountings of tachogenerators. Special shaft ends as
well as mounted spring-loaded brakes are deliverable, if required.
IP44 DC motors
DC shunt wound motors of the GKF series are specially
designed to be used with thyristor controllers.
Fully laminated field and armature as well as commutating poles
and compensating windings ensure low heat losses and sparkless
commutation.
Extensive speed-control ranges with absolute smooth running
and reversing are ensured by skewed rotors and large number
of collector segments.
Up to multiple overload torque and armature current are each
other exactly proportional.
The mounting dimensions are according to the directions of
IEC 60072. Special constructions are deliverable on request.
As standard the motors are provided with separate axial blower
and second shaft end for tachogenerators in hollow-shaft version
and B10-design. Mounted spring-loaded brake, radial blower and
special shaft ends are available.
